Our Founder
Hello, I’m Raelfa Rodriguez, the passionate founder of Let it Shine Learning Center. My personal and professional journey is a story of perseverance, determination, and the transformative power of education.
From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for learning and a firm belief in the unlimited potential of every individual. Despite living with my own disability, I never allowed it to become a barrier to achieving my dreams. On the contrary, it has been a source of strength and resilience that has driven me to overcome obstacles and keep moving forward.
Throughout my academic journey, I not only earned university degrees but also managed to become a successful professional. My personal experience with disability allowed me to better understand the unique needs of those facing similar challenges, and inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others overcome their own barriers.
The arrival of my son Reuben Jahaziel, who has Down Syndrome and ADHD, changed and illuminated our lives in unimaginable ways. His bravery and joy for life have been one of my greatest sources of strength and motivation. In fact, his presence in my life was one of the main reasons why I decided to found Let it Shine Learning Center.
At Let it Shine Learning Center, we create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can shine in their own way. We offer ABA, OT, and Speech Therapy, focusing on highlighting and nurturing the inherent skills and talents of each student. We provide the tools and support necessary to overcome any obstacle that may interfere with their learning.
My motto has always been “There are no limits to learning, you can do it”. I firmly believe that, regardless of the challenges one may face, we are all capable of achieving our dreams with the right guidance, support, and opportunities.
